If you copyright something, and someone uses it without prior permission, couldn't you sue them for money?

I don't know much about that part of the law.

But if so, and the picture was of graffiti, wouldn't you be making money from something illegal?

Being a graffiti writer myself, I think copyrights on graffiti images are an oxymoron.

I was looking for a graffiti Security Camera for an online project. This is exactly what I had in mind.

I don’t see how anyone can copyright graffiti. Unless it’s commissioned, it’s (in the eyes of the law) vandalism.
